Acknowledging Accomplishments

Phocas paticipants were recognized in a pinning ceremony held Staurday, May 9th at the Louisiana Delta Community College-West Monroe Campus. Students are “pinned” with a specially-designed pin that serves as a symbol of their accomplishment. Pinning is a tradition in the nursing field. The recitation of the Florence Nightingale Pledge and lighting of a candle are also elements of the practical nursing pinning ceremony. These PHOCAS particiapnts will be receiving diplomas, Saturday, May 15, 2015. NELA PHOCAS and WIB 83 are so proud of their accomplishment!
